San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station is in an earthquake and tsunami zone right next to the main north/south freeway between Los Angeles and San Diego
The following brief video clips (scroll down) will tell you, in a nutshell, why Southern California Edison’s proposed plan to restart one of their two currently shut-down, faulty nuclear reactors is criminal corporate folly. Located near multiple earthquake faults in a tsunami zone, operation of the damaged reactor recklessly endangers the dense population and agriculture of all Southern California as well as the nationally strategic seaport.
